| Winter Blessings |
This tutorial was written by Pints on 27th October 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidenta. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my site. I just love penguins and snowmen, they are my favourite for winter tags! Supplies Needed I used PSP9 but should work in other versions. Eye Candy 5: Nature, snowdrift. Scrapkit by Soxsational Scraps - Winter Blessings. Font of choice, I used Merry by DJB Mask of choice I used Mask17 by Becky Gorjuss tubes by Suzanne Woolcott Remember not to mix tubes you bought from AMI and the new Gorjuss Shop. Unless your licence has been exchanged. Lets Go! Open new canvas, 600 x 600 flood fill white. Open frame 3 or 4 the choice is yours! Copy/edit/paste as new layer onto your working canvas. Open paper12 New raster layer below frame/flood fill with this paper. Click on the frame layer. Using your magic wand set at add click inside the centre of each frame. Selections/modify/expand 4/invert. Click on paper layer and hit delete. Select none. Click on your paper layer. Effects/plugin/eye candy 5 nature/snowdrift. Click on the basic settings. Drift height nil. Dust on all features 46. Dust on bright features 47. Bright features threshold 20. Click ok. Now add your gorjuss tubes or tubes of your choice. Add the penguin and snow globe. Add the rest of the elements using my tag for placement. Above white background add new raster layer. Flood with paper 12. Layers/new mask layer/from image/choose your mask from drop down menu. Source luminance clicked/ok Delete mask layer. Merge group. Add another raster layer, this time flood fill with paper 15. Repeat the mask layer instructions. On the bottom mask layer (beige) Image/mirror. Then add the same eye candy snow drift settings as we used before. Add your name. Add drop shadows to all layers, including mask layers. V&H2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 Colour black. Resize all layers by 85% Add copyright/watermark. Merge all visible. Save as png or jpeg file. Your done.
