Christmas Surprise

A reasonably easy one.

Supplies needed:-

Scrapkit by Lliella Designs called Christmas Greetings and the Alpha

This is a paid kit so I’m sorry I cant share but I’m sure there are plenty of free kits out there on the web that can be adapted to suit.

Font of choice I used the Alpha which you can buy with the kit.

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and floodfill white.

Open frame 2, resize by 20%

Edit/copy/paste as new layer.

Rotate/free rotate/90 degrees

Rotate/free rotate/15 degrees

Open frame 1, resize by 20%

Edit/copy/paste as new layer.

Rotate/free rotate/90 degrees.

Open paper 10

Resize by 20%

New raster layer/below red frame layer/flood fill with the above paper.

On red frame layer click inside the frame with magic wand.

Selections/modify/expand 5/invert.

Click on paper layer and hit delete.

Select none.

Open christmas tree/santa/reindeer

Resize/copy/paste as new layer above red frame layer, use my tag for placement.

Open 2 stars/string/stocking.

Resize/edit/copy/paste as new layer, use your mover tool to place in top corner of frame, again use my tag for placement.

On the top star resize by 80% then Rotate/free rotate/left 15 degrees.

Open the wordart from the alpha.

Resize/copy/paste as new layer, placing to the top of tag.

Open the christmas cheer border.

Resize/copy/paste as new layer, drag this layer below frame layers.

Place this layer to the top of the frames.

Erase any excess.

Duplicate/image/flip.

Duplicate/image/free rotate 90 degrees

Again erase any excess.

Image/mirror.

Add your name.

Add dropshadows to all your elements etc.

V&H2

Opacity 50

Blur 5

Colour black.

Resize all layers, so your tag is no bigger than 550 x 550.

Merge all visible.

Add copyright.

Save as png or jpet.

Your done!
