This tutorial was written by Pints on October 25th 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my site. I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions. Supplies needed:- Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections - High ElfEsteem Christmas Tree Template by me HERE Font of choice I used 2 peas chicken shack. Mask of choice I used Mask 144 by Weescotlass Go to Download section. Lets Go! Open Christmas tree template, window/duplicate then close original. Delete the Pints copyright layer. Open the papers you want to use for the christmas tree. Resize New raster layers and flood fill with these papers, you will need 9. I started from the top so click on tree 8 Selections/select all/float/defloat/invert. Click on the appropriate paper layer and hit delete. Now repeat the above the the other 8 layers of the tree and branch. Delete the template layers. Add drop shadows V&H2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 Colour black Choose a paper for your mask layer. Resize/new raster layer/flood fill above white background layer. Layers/new mask layer/from image/choose your mask from drop down menu. Source luminance clicked. Click ok. Delete mask layer. Merge group. Open the lightstring horizontal. Resize. Copy/paste as new layer. Drag this onto the tree 1 layer. This part worked for me you might need to play! Duplicate the light layer. Resize by 80% and drag above the tree 2 layer. Keep repeating until you have your lights where you want them. Open/resize/copy/paste the presents/elfs/north pole sign. Use my tag for placement. Add your name. Add drop shadows as before. Resize all layers by 85% Add copyright. Merge all layers visible. Your done! Thankyou for doing this little tutorial hope you enjoyed. Add drop shadows.
Resize/copy and paste as new layer.
Keep copying and pasting until you have covered the line rectangle, see my tag for reference.
Merge all visible except your white background.
Open a paper of your choice. Resize/copy and paste as new layer, below your frame layer. Remove any excess paper by using the selection tool set on rectangle and hitting delete.
Add your tube.
Add your name.
Resize all layers by 80%.
Add copyright.
Merge all visible.
Copy.
Open up AS and paste as new animation.
Duplicate so you have 12 frames.
Edit/select all.
Open animation Edit/select all.
Drag over to your tag.
Go back to animation and click undo.
Animation/resize by 30%
Drag over to your tag and place where happy.
View animation.
Once your happy save as gif and your done.
