| Make A Joyful Noise |
This tutorial was written by Pints on October 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, do not post on any forums, do not email, you may link to my site, you may make snag sets and tags from any finished product. No money gain to be made from my tutorials. I used PSP9 but it should work with other versions.
Supplies needed:-
Nitwit scrap kit called On A High Note, the alpha wit and solid papers lil bits. Sorry it’s a paid scrap kit so I cant supply.
I used the Gorjuss work from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found
Font: I used the Alphawit from the kit. Template Mask of choice, i used mask 43 by Creative Desires. I don't know where to link this to so I cant provide. Lets go! When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step. Open frame and mask. Open new 600 x 600 canvas and flood fill white. Choose a paper for your mask background. Resize/new raster layer/flood fill with paper. Layers/new mask layer/from image choose your mask from the drop down menu Source luminance clicked. click ok. Delete mask. Merge group. Open another paper for your template. Resize/new raster layer/flood fill. Copy and paste your template as new layer. Selections/select all/float/defloat/invert. On paper layer hit delete. Open another raster layer below the template layer. Change your foreground colour to #eae0c5 Grab your paintbrush and colour in the music notes on the template. On template layer add inner bevel with these settings:- Bevel 2 Width 5 Smoothness 31 Depth 5 Ambience 0 Shininess 8 Colour white Angel 315 Intensity 38 Elevation 42 Open the frame with ribbon from the Lil bits. Resize/copy paste as new layer onto your working canvas. (see my tag for placement) Choose a paper for inside your frame. Resize/new raster layer/flood fill with this paper. On the frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections/modify/expand 10 Click on paper layer/hit delete. Select none. Add your tube. Add drop shadow to tube. Duplicate. Drag one of the tube layers below the frame. On the top tube layer use your eraser tool to delete any of the tube that is coming from underneath the frame. OK? Have a play until she looks good. Open the torn paper. Resize/copy paste as new layer Drag below frame paper layer. Image/rotate/free rotate/right 90 degrees. Using my tag for placement - resize/copy/paste rest of elements. Place where I have placed or go your own way. Open the alpha again, resize/copy paste as new layers. Use your deform tool to place where desired. Add drop shadows. V&H 2 Opacity 50 Blur 5 Colour black Resize all layers by 80% Add copyright/watermark. Merge all layers. Save as png or jpeg file. Your done.
