My tutorials are written in the way for those who have working knowledge of psp.
Supplies Needed
I used PSPX2 but should work in other versions.
MuReister's Copies
Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections - Joyful Hearts, Lil Bits, Solid Papers and the Alpha.
Font of choice - I used the alphawit for the kit
Gorjuss tubes by Suzanne Woolcott
Remember not to mix tubes you bought from AMI and the new Gorjuss Shop.
Unless your licence has been exchanged.
Lets Go!
When resizing always use smartsize!
As a general rule if your kit hasn't been resized, I resize by 20% and then work from that.
Open new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill white.
Open 4 of the candy's
Resize/edit/paste as new layers
Click on one of the candy layers
Effects/plugins/mureisters copies/apply the following settings:-
Repeat the above for each of your candy's.
Use your pick tool and rotate one a little.
Repeat this until you have a circle frame from the candy's.
Merge together the candy layers.
It should look something like this:-
Grab your present shape eclipse and draw out a circle which covers around half of the candy's.
It doesnt matter what colour you use because we will delete it.
Convert to raster layer.
Selections/select all/float/defloat
Click on your candy layer and hit delete.
Select none.
Delete the solid circle layer.
It should now look something like this:-
Set your foreground colour to the solid pink paper, background null
Use your preset eclipse shape and draw out a circle to cover the edge of the candy frame.
I used width 10.
Convert to raster layer.
Add Inner Bevel with these settings:-
Merge the candy frame and your thin border together.
Use my tag for placement of the following.
Using your mover tool move so your tag to the edge of your canvas
Grab your preset rectangle shape, foreground null/background the cherry paper again.
Draw out a rectangle at the side of your candy frame.
Convert to raster layer.
Open the christmas presents border.
Resize/edit/paste as new layer.
Using the candy's that we used before make a border to the top of the cherry rectangle you just made.
Hope you are saving!
Add your tube.
Add the holly/santa/snowmen.
Open the dotsteal paper and the Bg_stripe paper.
Resize
Two new raster layers above the white background/flood fill with these two papers.
Use your selection tool to delete the paper you dont want to show.
ie, the dots paper is to the top of your tag and the striped paper to the bottom of the tag.
Add drop shadows
V&H2
Opacity50
Blur 5
Colour Black.
Image/add borders.
Pixels
Choose a totally different colour to your tag, i used bright yellow.
Size 20
Symmetric make sure the box is clicked.
Grab your magic wand and click inside the border.
Now flood fill with the cherry paper.
Add inner bevel with same settings as before.
Add the holiday wordart.
Add your name.
Resize all layers by 85%
Add copyright.
Merge all visible.
Save as png or jpeg.
Your done.
