This tutorial was written by Pints on 19th June 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, Marcia made the original tag and I copied it and wrote tutorial with her kindest permission. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my group.
I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions.
Supplies needed:-
Animation shop.
Kay Miller Scrap kit - Blue Lagoon
Which can be found HERESorry it’s a paid scrap kit so I cant supply.
Font of choice I used Charlie
Lets go!
When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step.
Open new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white.
Open frame 1
Resize/edit/copy/paste as new layer on your canvas.
Open paper of choice I used paper 5
Resize
Using you preset eclipse shape - width 30, foreground the paper you just resized, background null - draw out a circle underneath your frame layer. Using your pick tool drag out so it fits nicely underneath the swim word art.
Convert to raster layer.
New raster layer.
Flood fill with this paper again.
Open the large corner art.
Resize/copy/edit/paste as new layer below frame layer.
With your mover tool move to the top left hand side of your frame.
Duplicate/image/mirror.
Add mermaids.
Add the waves.
On your frame layer using magic wand click inside the frame.
Selections/modify/expand 5/invert.
On the corner art hit delete.
DO NOT DO THIS ON THE WAVE LAYERS
Select none.
Add anymore elements you wish, you can use my tag for placement if you so wish.
Add your name.
Add drop shadows
V&H1
Opacity 40
Blur 40
Colour black.
Resize all layers by 85%
Add copyright.
For Animation.
Go back to the wave layer and move over to the right a little, rename wave 1
Duplicate.
On the duplicate layer.
Effects/image effects/offset
Horizontal -20, vertical 0
Edge mode transparent.
Rename wave 2
Repeat the above step until you have 6 frames.
Don’t forget to rename, wave 1,2,3,4,5,6.
Click inside your frame layer.
Selections/modify/expand 4/invert.
Now on each of the wave layers hit delete, this should get rid of any excess waves.
OK?
Hide wave layer, 2, 3,4,5,6
Merge all visible.
Edit/copy
Over in Animation shop
Edit/paste as new animation.
Back in psp
Undo
Now hide layer 1,3,4,5,6
Merge wave layer 2 with rest of layers.
Edit/copy
Over in AS shop paste after current animation.
Back in psp repeat the above steps until you have all 6 frames over in AS.
I left the animation properties set at 10 but its up to you how fast you want the waves moving.
View your animation and when your done save as gif and your done!
