This tutorial was written by Pints on 20th December 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidenta. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my site.
My tutorials are written in the way for those who have working knowledge of psp.
Supplies Needed
I used PSPX2 but should work in other versions.
Animation Shop
Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections - Great White North, Reisin Drops
Font of choice - I used the 2 Peas Beef Brocolli
Lets Go!
When resizing always use smartsize!
As a general rule if your kit hasn't been resized, I resize by 20% and then work from that.
Open new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill white.
Open Paper bg_stormblack, resize
New raster layer/flood fill with this paper.
Open the border_snow, resize
Paste as new layer, with your mover tool move towards top of tag, were going to make a frame.
Open the ribbon_bow, resize
Paste as new layer/duplicate
Using your mover tool move across your tag.
Open Ribbon_snowflake, resize.
Paste as new layer, moving towards bottom of tag.
Open 4 of the reisin drops, resize.
(or you can use buttons from the kit)
Paste as new layers.
Grab your selection tool and delete any of the background that is overhanging the frame.
You need your tag to look something like this:-
Next were going to add the following:-
Snow_Borders, Snow_hills, Trees, Pond, Penguins
Copy and paste the following so your tag looks like the following:-
Add your name.
Add dropshadows
For the trees I used
V&H 10
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Colour Black.
For everything else I used
V&H 2
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Colour black.
Resize so your tag is not too big.
Add copyright.
Merge all visible.
Copy
Open animation shop/edit/paste as new animation.
Back in psp click undo
Open the skating Penguin
Resize/image/mirror
Paste as new layer
Place him so he is just popping from below the frame going down the hill.
Open the tobogging pengiuns.
Resize/paste as new layer
Image/mirror.
Place them so they are below the trees and between 2 of the snow layers.
If there is any of the pengiuns overhanging the outside of the frame just grab your selection tool on rectangle and hit delete.
Merge all visible
Edit/copy
Over in Animation shop/edit/paste after current frame.
Back in psp
Click undo twice.
Repeat what we did last time mover the pengiun down the hill and the tobboging pengiuns along a little, deleting any that is overhanging.
When the skating pengiun gets to the bottom on the hill, you need to click image/mirror and having him chasing the tobboging pengiuns out of the frame.
You should end up with around 11 frames.
In animation shop click edit/select all.
Animation/frame properties and set at 30.
View your animation and when your happy save as gif.
Your done.
