This tutorial was written by Pints on March 22th 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work.Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my group.
I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions.
Supplies needed:-
Nitwit scrap kit called WaddlesWhimsy, and the little bits.
Sorry it’s a paid scrap kit so I cant supply.
I used the Gorjuss work from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found
Mask HERE
For the font I used Susie’s handwriting.
Frame was a freebie called Iced Denimn from Lindsayjane and can be found on her blog. If you don’t want to use this choose your own.
Its on the 7th page.
Mask of choice I used Becky Mask 23 attached.
Lets go!
When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step.
Open new 600 x 600 canvas and flood fill white.
Open the frame resize/copy and paste as new layer.
Image/free rotate 90 degrees.
Open paper of choice for the frame I used:-
Bg_ducks_maryfran
Resize/copy and paste as new layer above frame.
Hide this layer.
On your frame layer.
Selections/select all/float/defoat/invert.
Back on your paper layer unhide and hit delete.
Merge these two layers.
Open another paper for inside your frame.
I used:- bg_blueticking_maryfran.
Resize/copy and paste as new layer beneath your frame layer.
Using your magic wand in the centre of your frame click.
Selections/modify/expand by 3
On paper layer hit delete.
Select none.
Add your tube.
Add drop shadows to your frame and tube.
Merge your frame/tube and paper layer.
From your little bits open the daisy chain_maryfran
Resize/copy and paste as new layer below your frame.
Duplicate/image/mirror.
Duplicate/image/free rotate 90 degrees.
Duplicate/image/flip.
With your mover tool move these layers so they make another frame below your original frame layer.
Erase any overhanging pieces.
New raster layer.
Flood fill with paper that you used for inside your frame.
Layers/new mask layer/from image/beckmask23/source luminance clicked and ok.
Delete mask layer/ merge group.
Add anymore elements word art that you wish.
Add your name.
Resize all layers by 80%
Add your copyright.
Merge all layers visible.
Open up the 4 yellow ducklings.
Resize.
Copy and paste the ducking1_maryfran.
Copy and paste the duckling2_maryfran placing next to your 1st duckling.
Copy and paste the duckling3_maryfran placing next to your 2nd duckling.
Copy and paste the duckling4_maryfran placing next to your 3rd duckling.
Repeat the above 4 steps until you have gone across the bottom of your frame.
On each of the ducklings
Image/Mirror.
Starting with duckling1 copy and paste going back along the bottom of the frame.
Repeat this with the other ducklings until you have gone right across.
You should end up with 15 duckling fames.
Hide all the ducklings apart from the 1st one.
Merge all visible.
Copy.
Over in AS paste as new animation.
Back in psp undo, hide your first duckling and unhide the 2nd one.
Merge all visible.
Copy and paste over in AS after current frame.
Keep repeating the above steps until you have all your ducklings over in AS.
In AS edit/select all.
Animation/frame properties and change to 30.
View your animation and when your happy save as GIF.
Your done.
