My tutorials are written in the way for those who have working knowledge of psp.
Supplies Needed
I used PSPX2 but should work in other versions.
Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections - Joyful Hearts, Lil Bits, Solid Papers and the Alpha.
Font of choice - I used the alphawit for the kit
Mask of choice, I used Mask194 by Weescottlass
Gorjuss tubes by Suzanne Woolcott
Remember not to mix tubes you bought from AMI and the new Gorjuss Shop.
Unless your licence has been exchanged.
Lets Go!
When resizing always use smartsize!
As a general rule if your kit hasn't been resized, I resize by 20% and then work from that.
Open new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill white.
Open the teal frame from the joyful bits.
Resize.
Grab your pick tool and rotate a little to the left.
Open the Christmas trees, resize, paste as new layers above your frame.
Edit/copy/paste as new layers
Make a small border (see my tag)
if you dont want to do this then you can use the tree border that comes with the little bits - I like to play myself!
Add dropshadows
V&H2
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Colour black
Merge together the tree layers, you can do this by going to the top layer tree and keep merging down until all the trees are on one layer.
Do the same with the presents make a border above the tree border you just made, add anymore elements your wish with your presents.
Add dropshadows as above.
Merge present layers together as you did with the tree layers.
Duplicate the frame layer.
Drag down so one of the frame layers is below the tree layer and one layer on top.
On the top frame layer grab your eraser tool, zoom in and then erase parts of this frame, see my tag for a general idea.
Add Tube.
Open paper of choice and above the white background layer flood fill with this paper.
Erase any that is overhanging your frame.
Add the word art/santa/snowman
Add your name.
On the bottom frame layer/word art/name layers add the following drop shadow:-
V&H 10
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Colour Black.
Open paper of choice for mask, I used the plaid pink one.
Resize by 20% (if original size)
New raster layer/flood fill.
Layers/new mask layer/from image.
Choose your mask from drop down menu.
Source luminance clicked.
Ok
Delete mask layer.
Merge group.
Grab your pick tool and rotate a little to the left.
Resize all layers by 85%
Add copyright.
Merge all visible.
Save as png or jpeg.
Your done.
