Happy little monkey

This tutorial was written by Pints on March 29th 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work.

Please do not steal my tutorial and use it as your own, if you want to share it then please link people to my group. Thank you.

I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions.

Supplies needed:-

Animation Shop.

I used scrap kit from Nitwit collections called GoinBananas and the bits which can be found HERE

I used the Gorjuss work from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found

HERE

If you don’t want to buy the Alphawits choose your own font.

Frame, Mask, Grass, Animated cloud - Supplies HERE

I do not know where the grass or the cloud animation came from, if it is yours then please let me know so I can give proper credit.

Lets go!

When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step.

Open new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.

Open frame provided.

Copy/paste as new layer.

Open paper of choice.

Resize/copy/paste as new layer above your frame layer.

On frame layer

Selection/select all/float/defloat/invert

On paper layer hit delete.

Delete the original frame.

Select none.

Open Banana frame.

Resize/copy and paste as new layer, placing it above your frame, see my tag for placement.

Open paper of choice for background a nice blue would be nice.

Resize/copy/paste as new layer below frame.

Add grass I used 3 layers, I placed my tube between two layers of the grass.

Add Tube.

On frame layer using magic wand click centre of frame.

Selections/modify/expand10 Invert.

On paper, grass and tube layer hit delete.

Select none.

Add elements and word art see my tag for placement.

Add name.

Add drop shadows to all your elements etc, I find it easier to do this at the end.

Vertical & Horizontal 2

Opacity 50 & Blur 5, colour black.

Add the drop shadow to the first element.

Then hit edit/repeat drop shadow on everything else.

New raster layer above white background layer, flood fill with blue colour that you used for background of your frame.

Layers new mask layer, from image and click on your becky mask 23

Click on source luminance then ok

Delete your mask layer and then merge group.

Resize by 90%

Duplicate/image/mirror

Resize all layers by 80%

Add copyright.

Merge white background, vine, mask layers, blue background to frame & copyright.

Merge rest of layers together.

Save each layer separately as animation shop file.

In Animation Shop

Open the background layer duplicate so you have 26 layers

Edit/select all.

Open the cloud animation.

Edit/select all.

Drag over to your background layer and place on blue background.

Open frame and element layer duplicate so you have 26 layers.

Edit/select all.

Drag over to your animation and place so it fits nicely above your background and cloud frame.

View animation.

When your happy save as gif..

Your done!
