My tutorials are written in the way for those who have working knowledge of psp.
Supplies Needed
I used PSPX2 but should work in other versions.
Animation Shop (optional)
Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections - Beary Christmas, Lil Bits.
WeeScotLass Mask 47, Go to downloads for masks
Your own stock photo(s) or tube(s) of choice.
My photo's are not very good because I used my iphone!
Lets Go!
When resizing always use smartsize! I always start by resizing by 20% and then play around from that.
When I put copy/paste, see my tag for placement please.
Open new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill white.
Open all the ribbons/ric rac from the main kit.
Resize/copy/paste as new layers.
Duplicate and move around so your canvas looks something like this:-
Layers/new mask layer from image.
Choose your mask from the drop down menu.
Source luminance clicked.
Click ok.
Delete mask layer.
Merge group.
Open the blue rectangle frame from the lil bits.
Resize/paste as new layer.
Grab your pick tool and just rotate a little.
Open paper bg_Stripe_maryfran
Resize
Edit/copy/paste as new layer below the frame.
Using magic wand click outside the frame.
Selections/modify/expand by 4
Click on paper layer hit delete.
Open the ricrac_red_maryfran from main kit.
Resize/edit/copy/paste as new layer.
Using your pick tool again move and rotate a little.
Back on the stripe paper layer using your eraser tool erase the paper above the red ricrac.
Open the bear_yellow Maryfran/ornaments with bows/hollys from main kit.
Open the bear_present_maryfran/tag_bear_maryfran from the lil bits.
Resize/edit/copy/paste as new layers.
Open the different word art from the lil bits.
Resize/edit/copy/paste as new layers.
Add drop shadows to all your elements.
V&H2
Opacity 50
Blur 5
Colour black.
If animating choose a few photo(s) or Tube(s)
If not one will do!
I used 6 photo's of Bella and her pups.
So you choose your own
Resize your photo's/edit/copy/paste as new layers
Erase any parts of the photos that maybe showing outside the frame or below the red ricrac.
Add copyright.
If Not animating merge all visible.
Save as png and your done!
ANIMATION.
Its going to look like this:-
Close all the photo's and word art that you don't want in your first frame.
Merge all visible.
Edit/copy
Over in AS paste as new animation.
Back in PSP click undo.
Now hide the first photo and word art.
Unhide the second photo and word art.
Merge all visible.
Edit/copy
Paste over in AS after current frame.
Go back to psp and keep repeating the above steps until you have finished.
In AS
Edit/select all.
Animation/frame properties set at 60.
Click on the last frame and set that one alone at 100.
Resize your animation.
View animation
When your happy save as gif
Your done!
