This tutorial was written by Pints on March 9th 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work. Please do not steal my tutorial and use it as your own, if you want to share it then please link people to my group. Thank you.
I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions.
This is a real fun one.
Supplies needed:-
I used scrap kit from nitwit collections called GoinBananas and the bits which can be found here:- HERE
I used the Gorjuss work from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found
If you don’t want to buy the Alphawits choose your own font.
Mask By Becky23 is attached.
Lets go!
Open new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
Open a plain paper of your choice, I used the brown one. Resize and use it as your pattern for your foreground and stoke properties. Background null. Using your eclipse preset shape width set at 40 draw out a circle in the middle of your canvas. Convert to raster layer.
Open another paper of your choice, I used bg_plaid_maryfran. Resize and use it as your pattern for your foreground and stoke properties. Background null. We are going to draw another circle a little smaller than the plain paper one. Using your pick tool move and adjust so it looks nice.
Add drop shadows to these layers. V&H2, Opacity 50, Blur 5, colour black.
Merge these two layers.
Open another paper of your choice. Resize/copy and paste as new layer.
Using your magic wand, select inside the circle frame you have just made. Selection/Modify/Expand 3/Invert. Back on paper layer hit delete. Select none.
Add your tube. Add drop shadows as above.
Open your two leaf elements. Resize and copy and paste as new layers beneath the frame layer. Add drop shadows as above.
Now just keep duplicating and moving the leaves until they all around your frame. If you have Mureister copies you could try to use this, merge the two leaf layers and play with until it looks like my tag.
Merge together all your leaf layers.
New Raster layer - flood fill with blue clouds.
Layers/New mask layer. Becky mask 23, source luminance clicked/ok Delete mask layer. Merge group. Duplicate/mirror. Merge these 2 layers.
Open your monkeys and place at the top of the frame, I used Image/flip on the middle one to make him look like her was laying across the frame. Also I erased part on the monkeys to make them look like they are entangled.
Add drop shadows as above and merge together.
Open the un-opened banana, resize and paste as new layer. Add drop shadow. Put the first banana in the monkeys foot. Duplicate/mirror and put it under the first banana. Keep on repeating this step until you have a string of bananas, see my tag.
Merge your banana layers. Duplicate and mirror and move to the other side of your tag to make it look like its coming from the other monkeys foot.
Add anymore elements you wish. Add your name. Resize all layers by 80% Add your copyright. Merge all layers visible.
Now for the animation.
Open up one of your monkeys and resize so he is pretty small.
Place him at the bottom of your banana chain. Duplicate and mirror. Place this monkey at the bottom of the other banana chain.
Merge all layers visible. Copy and paste over in animation shop as new animation.
Go back to PSP and undo. This time swap the monkeys over moving up just a little. Do not try to move them up too much or your animation will be jerky!
Merge all visible. Copy and paste over in animation shop after current frame.
Repeat this step until you have gone up and back down the banana chain.
Be patient your animation will look better if you have more frames. I ended up with about 15.
When you have them all over in AS Click on Edit/Select all Animation/frame properties 30.
Then just click on the first frame and change frame properties to 60.
View your animation.
Save as GIF Your Done!
Thankyou for trying my tutorial and I hope your enjoyed playing as much as I did. Pints.x.
