This tutorial was written by Pints on April 5th 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work. Please do not steal my tutorial and use it as your own, if you want to share it then please link people to my group. Thank you.
I used PSPX1 but it should work with other versions. No outside filters needed.
A real easy one.
Supplies needed:-
I used scrap kit from Nitwit collections called Tattered Frannies and the Alpha wit which can be found HERE
I used the Gorjuss work from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found
If you don’t want to buy the Alphawits choose your own font.
Lets go!
When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step.
Open new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
Using your preset shape tool set at rectangle, width 4, foreground colour any, background colour null - draw out a good size square on your canvas. Convert to raster layer.
Using my tag for guidance open the elements/resize/copy and paste as new layers, placing them on the frame you have just made. Because you are resizing some of the elements quite a bit its important that you don’t forget to sharpen. When your happy with your frame, delete your square layer, hide your background layer and merge all visible.
Open paper I used bg_pink_maryfran. Resize by 20% Copy and paste as new layer below your frame.
On frame layer using magic wand click inside the frame. Selections/select all/modify/expand 3/invert On paper layer hit delete. Select none.
Add tube.
Add name.
Duplicate your frame layer and drag below your paper layer. Resize by 110% Reduce opacity to 20.
Add drop shadows.
Resize all layers by 80%
Add copyright. Merge all visible.
Save as png and your done.
