This tutorial was written by Pints on May 31st 2008 any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental, completely my own work. Please do not take this tutorial as use it as your own, but you may print for own personal use and link to my group.
Supplies Needed
I used PSPX1 but should work in other versions.
Scrapkit and stickers by Mindy Terasawa called Buggiboo available at Designer Digitals
A little tip they always have a discount on some kits on a Thursday its pot luck to whether or not it’s the one you want.
3 tubes of choice from same artist.
I used the gorjuss work of Suzanne Woolcott
Lets go!
When using scrap kits when you resize them you need to resize using smart size and then sharpen by going Adjust Sharpen or the elements get faded and don’t look as good. So when it says resize use this step.
Open new canvas 600 x 600 pixels and flood fill white.
Open the cardstock frame.
Resize/edit/copy paste as new layer on working canvas.
Duplicate
Resize again by around 60/70%
Duplicate
With mover tool drag the resized frames so you have one at either side of the bigger frame.
Merge the frames.
Open paper of choice I used paper 6
Resize by 15%
Copy/paste as new layer below frame layer.
On frame layer using magic wand set at add click inside each of the frames.
Selections/modify/expand 3/invert
Hit delete on paper layer.
Selections/select none.
Open the flower border.
Resize/copy
Paste as new layer
Place this above the top of your centre frame.
Using your eraser tool erase any that is overhanging the frame.
Duplicate
Drag to bottom of frame.
Repeat the above step with the flower borders for the 2 smaller frames.
Open the word art and elements.
Resize/copy/paste as new layers using my tag for reference for placement.
Add your tubes.
I placed the middle tube sat on the frame and caterpillar.
Add your name.
If you have not sharpened your elements now is the time!
Adjust/sharpness/sharpen.
Click edit/repeat sharpen on the rest of your elements.
Add drop shadows.
V&H 1
Opacity 40
Blur 4
Colour black.
(edit/repeat drop shadows on rest of elements/tubes)
Resize by 85%
Add copyright.
Merge all visible.
Save as png or jpeg file.
Your done.
