This tutorial was written by Pints on the 30^th April 2008, any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.  Please do not take this tutorial and make it your own or share via email etc, you may however print out for your own personal use, your finished tag is for you to do as please, you are quite welcome to offer as tags but please dont try to make a profit!

Supplies needed:-

Animation Shop

Scrapkit by Nitwit Collections called Spaced Out which can be found

This is a paid kit so I’m sorry I cant share but I’m sure there are plenty of free kits out there on the web that can be adapted to suit.

Tube of choice, I used one from Suzanne Woolcott which can be found

Font of choice I used the one that you can purchase alongside the kit.

Lets get started!

Open new canvas 600 x 600 flood fill white.

Firstly we will make the frame.

Open up the green, red and blue arrows.

Resize

Copy and paste the blue arrow as new layer.

Copy and paste the green arrow as new layer.

Image/free rotate 90 degrees left

With mover tool move this arrow so it is up above the blue arrow to make frame side.

Carry on copying and pasting the arrows and rotating so you have a frame, use my tag for reference and placement.

When you are happy with your frame, merge these layers.

Duplicate your frame.

On the bottom frame layer.

Image/resize by 110%

Lower the opacity to 50%.

Open paper for choice, I used a solid yellow one.

Resize

Copy and paste as new layer below frame layers.

On top frame layer using magic wand click inside the frame.

Selections/modify/expand3/invert.

Hit delete on the paper layer.

Selection/select none.

Add tube.

Add all other elements/word art using my tag for placement.

Add Name.

Open the two rockets.

Resize and copy and paste as new layers.

I pasted these underneath the green gremlin layer.

See my tag for placement of rockets.

Resize all layers by 80%

Add copyright.

If you do not want to animate your tag your done.

Merge all visible and save a png. File.

For Animation.

Hide the rocket with the fire coming out of bottom.

Merge rest of layers/copy paste over into animation shop as new animation.

Back in paint shop undo

Delete the rocket with no fire.

On your fire rocket layer press on the top arrow key on your keyboard, keep pressing to move the rocket up a bit.

Doing it this way will stop your animation becoming jerky.

Merge all visible.

Copy and paste over into animation shop after current animation.

Back in paint shop keep repeating the above steps, when you get to the top of the frame you will need to rotate.

I did this by rotating by 12%, moving a little, merging, copying over to animation shop, then I came back to paint shop and rotated by another 12%.

Once you have gone all round the frame with the rocket go back to animation shop.

Edit/select all

Animation/frame properties 30

Then click on just the first frame and make the frame properties 50

Do this for the last frame as well.

View your animation.

When your happy save as gif.

Your done!
